So then 2015, it’s been a fairly quiet one in comparison to the previous years but here goes…

I left (I use that term loosely) my job at Estuary TV at the very start of the year and it seemed like the end of the world. Little did I know a few months later I would be getting a job at Viking FM; a station I’ve wanted to work for since I was a kid (yes, it’s street team but it’s a step in the right direction). I got a temporary job invigilating at Ormiston before getting a 1 year contract to work in Admin and Reprographics (as well as deal with snotty parents on the phone on reception). I’ve really come on with my photography and hope to improve even more next year, I’ve been back to Manchester (a place I always love), I’ve been to Amsterdam for the first time (and got incredibly sea sick!) as well as Disneyland Paris (also a first time). I ‘ran’ a 5K whilst getting paint thrown at me in Lincoln, and then proceeding to eat 20 chicken nuggets and half a cheeseburger. I went on holiday to Norfolk with mum and grandma and my nephew Logan and it was fantastic. I saw Gemma graduate and she made me so proud. I bought a car out of my own money (something I’d always told myself I would do). I even built a bookcase and a bathroom cabinet…

It’s not been easy and it’s not exactly been difficult but I’ve made it through. Here’s to 2016… let’s see what you’ve got!

Here is to all of those people who unfortunately are no longer in our lives for one reason or another, and to those who have come back into our lives. Have a good one people.
